Duotone Launch Demo Debrief...

Wow—what a day!

The morning started off with a mix of clouds and heavy rain, and for a moment it looked like the weather might put a damper on things. But then—boom—the skies cleared, the sun broke through, and the wind filled in with a steady 30 knots. Suddenly, we had waves to carve, bumps to ride, and energy in the air that set the stage for one of the most exciting demo sessions we’ve ever hosted.

At one point, every single piece of demo equipment was out on the water. The Crest 1050 and Skybrid SLS 70 quickly proved to be crowd favorites, with riders lining up to give them a go. Meanwhile, Mad Max was hanging onto the 15 D/Lab Juice when the wind really began to roar, showing just how much power and performance the kit could deliver.

As the gusts kept building, the 9m and 10m Rebel D/Labs came into their own—lifting riders higher and higher with huge, floaty jumps and endless hang time. (I’ll admit, I couldn’t resist joining in on the action myself!) The grins on everyone’s faces said it all.

Not to be outdone, the windsurfers were spoiled for choice as well. With a full range of Grip boards and Freewave Ultras paired with the latest Hero sails, there was something for every style and condition. The feedback was unanimous—smooth, powerful, and simply fun to ride.

All told, it was our most successful demo day to date. The weather lined up perfectly, the stoke was high, and the gear absolutely shined in the conditions. A huge thank you to everyone who came out, pushed themselves, and helped turn a stormy morning into an unforgettable session.
