H2O Sports Terms & Conditions: The Fun (but Important) Stuff

We’re H2O Sports—a small but mighty team committed to keeping you stoked and satisfied. Firstly welcome aboard! By shopping with us, you’re not just buying gear—you’re joining the H2O Sports crew. But like any epic adventure, we’ve got a few rules to keep things shipshape. Think of this as the safety briefing before you set sail. Don’t worry—it’s not as boring as it sounds (we hope).

Who We Are

H2O Sports is your go-to for all things water sports. We’re a small, independent crew based in the UK, and we take pride in delivering top-notch gear, stellar service, and a little bit of banter along the way.

Pacing an Order

When you place an order with us, we’ll confirm it faster than you can say “kitesurfing.” But here’s the deal:

  • If we spot a pricing error (yes, we’re human), we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund you in full.

  • Orders aren’t official until we’ve dispatched them—so don’t wax your board just yet!

Payments & Pricing

We accept all major payment methods, including cards, PayPal, and gold doubloons (just kidding). Prices include VAT for UK/EU customers, but shipping costs are extra—don’t worry, we make those crystal clear before checkout.

Shipping & Delivery

We aim to deliver faster than a windsurfer catching a gust. But…

  • Standard Delivery: Your gear should arrive within the timeframe stated at checkout.

  • Express Delivery: Need it yesterday? We’ll do our best!

  • Delays: Sometimes, life happens (think weather, strikes, or alien invasions). If there’s a holdup, we’ll keep you in the loop.

Warranties

We stand by our products like a lifeguard on duty.

  • Standard Warranty: Covers manufacturing defects, not wear and tear or user error (sorry, but that punctured paddleboard isn’t covered if you ran it into a rock).

  • Extended 5-Year Warranty: Available on select gear because we believe in going the extra mile (or nautical mile).

Liability (AKA, Don’t Blame Us for Your Epic Fails)

We’re here to provide killer gear, not coaching. So, if you wipe out trying a triple backflip on a wakeboard, that’s on you. Our liability is limited to the cost of the item purchased—no exceptions.

Privacy & Cookies

We don’t share your details with anyone who doesn’t need to know. And yes, our site uses cookies, but only the helpful kind (no chocolate chips, sorry). For more info, check out our Privacy Policy.

Promotions & Discounts

We love a good deal, but there are a few ground rules:

  • Discounts can’t be combined with 0% finance or new season gear.

  • Some items are excluded—because even we have to pay the bills.

Returning & Exchanging Items: We’ve Kept It Simple

Life’s complicated enough, so we’ve made returning items for mainland UK as easy as pie. 

Extended Christmas Returns (Festive Season Edition)

We’ve stretched our usual returns window for Christmas. Any gift bought in November or December can be returned up to 31 January if it’s unwanted or not quite right.

Returning full-price items

Changed your mind? No problem. Let us know within 14 days and return the item within 28 days.

To qualify for a refund or exchange, items must be new and unused, with all original packaging and labels intact, and returned in a condition that allows the product to be resold at full price.

Once we receive the return and check the condition, we’ll process your refund or exchange. Please note delivery charges are not refundable. Returns are sent using your chosen courier at your own cost — we don’t offer free returns.

How to return your H2O Sports order

  1. Go to www.h2o-sports.co.uk

  2. Log in to your account

  3. On the Orders page, select “Returns request” for the item

  4. Choose the reason for return and add any helpful notes

  5. Submit the request

  6. You’ll receive an email confirming we’ve received it

  7. Once approved, you’ll receive an email confirming your return is authorised

  8. Post the item back using your preferred service (return postage is your responsibility)

Returning clearance or discounted items

Discounted/clearance items follow the same timings: notify us within 14 days and return within 28 days, unused and in original packaging.

If accepted, you’ll receive a full refund as online store credit only. Store credit is applied once the item is received and verified. Delivery charges aren’t refunded, and returns are sent at your own cost.

Second-hand product return policy

Because of the nature of second-hand items, all second-hand products are final sale and non-returnable/non-refundable.

That said, your consumer rights still apply. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a second-hand item is faulty or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of receipt. We’ll review each case individually and, where appropriate, arrange a repair or replacement.

What can’t be returned (unless faulty or not as described)

The following items can only be returned if they’re faulty or not as described:

  • Purchases received over 30 days ago

  • Items that have been opened/unsealed beyond what’s needed to inspect

  • Items missing original packaging/labels

  • Items or packaging in poor condition

  • Second-hand items (see policy above)

  • Items containing personal data or registered with the manufacturer

  • Products made/cut to your specifications

  • Personalised products

  • Hygiene-restricted items:

    • Skincare products that have been opened/used or seal is broken

    • Swimwear where the hygiene seal has been removed

If an item is returned outside policy, or without proof of purchase, we may be unable to process a refund or exchange — so please keep your receipt/order confirmation.

If you believe your return falls outside our terms, contact contact@h2o-sports.co.uk and we’ll investigate and do our best to help.

How you’ll be refunded

Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item, back to the original payment method. If you paid with a gift card, we’ll send an e-gift card to the email address used at checkout.
