GRAPHENE_PLUSH 2.0
Graphene is an impossibly light, strong and heat-conducting material. ION integrated this revolutionary material into their new inner lining. The result is up to 20% more warmth compared to ION‘s Plasma_Plush 2.0 lining. Made from reycled fabrics, Graphene_Plush 2.0 guarantees an incredible drying time for your wetsuit, making sure it‘s al ways nice and comfy.
PLASMA_PLUSH 2.0
Premium lining offering the best of heat retention and stretch. The high pile fabric traps air for snuggly warmth and insulation while the vertically aligned channel structure transports moisture a way quickly – for a dry suit after your break in between sessions.
HOT_STUFF 3.0
The Hot_Stuff 3.0 comes with a plushier feel due to larger loops that trap more air for heat insulation. Made from recycled Nylon, it is the stretchiest thermo lining in ION's entire range.
SILK_STUFF 2.0
Smooth inside lining made from recycled fabrics for a comfortable for a comfortable feeling on bare skin. Despite its snuggly appearance it proves to be really hard core when it comes to the interior‘s superb flexible characteristics.
MAX_FLEX
Made from recycled fabrics, Max_Flex is our latest innovation in flexibility and stretch. The unique rhombus-shaped structure of this lining material allows it to be more flexible. Further does the material itself not soak up water but redistributes it on the surface thru small channels. This increases the evaporation of water and reduces drying time.
ECO_STRETCH
ION uses recycled nylon fabric for its exterior linings. The material is sourced from nylon waste, but the best thing is that its stretch properties are just as good as in conventional linings.
SEAM_REINFORCEMENT
All stress points are reinforced and secured by melco tape from the inside to ensure a longer lifespan of the seams.
EXO_SHIELD
Inspired by nature's exoskeleton, the Exo_Shield print on the Select level is designed to shield against windchill, ensuring optimal warmth and providing extra grip when wearing a harness.
MAKI_TAPE 2.0
Highly elastic neoprene tape reinforces the seams on the lower body and commonly stressed cuff area from the inside.
SWEEP_CUT
Seam-free shoulder design for increased paddle reach and shoulder rotation.
WATER_DEFENDER
This patent-pending innovation prevents leg cuffs from folding up due to water flush. Two interchangeable inserts on the inside allow water to drain immediately, keeping you warm and comfortable.
STITCHLESS SEAMS
Fully welded and glued seams, reinforced with durable external taping, effectively prevent water leakage and enhance the suit's longevity.
DRAINHOLES
Small holes that allow water to exit the suit after a big flush. Drainholes won’t let water in.
ONE HAND ZIPPER
Opens to the left closes to the right. Can be opened and closed with a single hand. Locked with a clip. Available on Amp level wetsuits.
GLUED BLIND STITCH
Glued and Blind Stitched wetsuits are first glued and then with a curved needle halfway stitched thru the neoprene to prevent water entering the wetsuit.
FLAT LOCK STITCH
Neoprene panels are laid over each other to be stitched together. This method allows for a very resistant and strong yet flexible seam.
