Ollie – From the Mountains to the Waves
Coming from a professional skiing background, Ollie has always had a passion for action sports, speed and pushing himself – although these days you're far more likely to find him chasing wind and waves than snow!
Ollie initially fell in love with kitesurfing through twin-tip riding and Big Air, enjoying the jumps, speed and adrenaline that get so many of us hooked on the sport. But, as the years – and the landings – started taking their toll on the knees, his attention gradually turned towards wave riding and surfboards.
Local to Poole, Ollie is a familiar face at BDC and K-Bay whenever the conditions are working, but he's equally happy loading up the van and heading further afield in search of quality waves.
Regular trips to the West Country and Ireland keep the wave addiction well and truly alive, with Ollie always on the lookout for the next forecast, swell and opportunity to get on the water.
With a background in professional sport and years of experience across different styles of kitesurfing, Ollie brings plenty of knowledge to the H2O crew – particularly when it comes to wave riding, surfboards and making the most of proper UK conditions.
