Our all-new range of Freestyle boards, developed in collaboration with JP's freestyle experts Yentel Caers and Sam Esteve, takes the sport to new heights. Thanks to extensive refinement and reshaping, our event winning shapes are now shorter, more responsive, and more radical than ever before, allowing riders to spin, rotate, and pop with unparalleled speed and precision. Despite their increased liveliness, these boards still offer the early planing and speed potential of their predecessors, thanks to their flat scoop rocker line. Plus, subtle tail revisions provide a more powerful pop for multiple rotations and more impressive freestyle moves all-round.
At JP, we've always been at the forefront of freestyle board design, working closely with our team riders to push the limits and set new trends in the sport. Our latest shapes are no exception, with a relentless focus on enhancing new school freestyle potential while maintaining our high standards of overall ride and performance. With these new boards, you can be sure that you're getting the very best in freestyle technology, backed by years of experience and a dedication to excellence that's second to none.
Success in modern freestyle depends on double power moves, so we focused our development on speed during pop in order to make triple moves the next standard. To achieve this, shaper Werner Gnigler has made the boards slightly shorter, which reduces swing weight and improves response speed during pop. This makes sliding moves and aerial spins faster and more controlled, bringing triple moves well within the boards’ range. Although shorter than previous JP shapes, the new boards are still longer than many other models on the market, ensuring accessible all-around performance in all conditions.
The flat scoop rocker line generates the lift needed for early planing and high-speed performance.
The deck's dome is now crucial in ensuring riding stability not just in a regular stance but also when riding switch. As most moves are now executed in switch stance, the board design must accommodate this additional task. The subtledome is the perfect balance between pushing for performance while still maintaining stability during moves
The newly designed tail provides a balance between width and thickness, giving ample flotation while allowing the rider to sink it for a powerful take-off.
The bottom shape of the new boards features a defined V from the mast base forward, which is combined with a soft tuck line. This combination supports a smooth ride and forgiveness during sliding moves.
We incorporate a flat V bottom shape towards the tail, along with a pronounced tuck line. This combination offers exceptional grip, immediate power, and a high-riding water position, while also providing a loose feel to the board
The boards come with double footstrap plugs for maximum control.
More than just conventional freestyle boards, all sizes come with JP’s reinforced Foil-Powerbox and their compact and wide shapes make them ideal toys for foil riding! This widens the range of use of your “small” gear: Just mount a foil and fly – while other freestylers with their normal fins are stuck on the beach waiting for the wind to pick up. JP’s short Freestyle boards provide enough ease and stability to pick up this new segment of our sport quite easily. Advanced foil freestylers can push their limits and pull-off their first crazy moves at the EFPT “foilstyle” events.
Although not specially designed and tuned for it, the shape dimensions also allow for the use of a wing.
JP’s three new Freestyle boards are ultra versatile and can be used in a wide range of conditions, from fun freshwater events to hardcore PWA and EFPT freestyle events on the sea. With their shorter and more compact shapes, they are more responsive and spin faster, making them great for both recreational and professional sailors. Overall, these boards provide a complete and enjoyable package for all skill levels.

RIDER TALK
Yentel Caers:
It isn’t easy to improve a product when having one of the best boards on the market. We put the main focus on improving new-school freestyle tricks without losing control or performance in sliding moves. Sam and me both love double power moves. So, we wanted to have faster reaction speeds during pop, making triple moves our next standard. The board got slightly shorter which helps to spin faster in the air and when sliding on the water. For my feeling, this is the best board I had so far: Great in pure flatwater freestyle and still having so much control in choppy conditions. The perfect balance in between speed, sliding, control and pop. With the volume in the right place, the boards even planes earlier. Overall, the best freestyle board.
Sam Esteve:
I love JP’s new Freestyle because it offers an exceptional combination of performance and versatility. Its new tail shape makes the board faster and allows me to keep speed when ducking and on switch stance. Its rounder nose helps to maintain control during sliding moves and to keep up the energy required for multiple pops. This is the board that allows me to push my limits with confidence and serenity.
My favourite setup is the 4.0 sail with the 85L board in strong winds and on flat water.
The compact shape makes for an excellent planing start and a smooth glide.
The JP Freestyle is the ultimate board for those who want to push their limits, whether aiming for big combos or just starting out with freestyle tricks.

from 127 reviewsAfter purchasing this wing earlier this year it has noticeably made tacks so much smoother and overall upgraded my riding. I bought the 3.0 and 5.0 metre and my 3.0m flies very well in both underpowered and overpowered conditions
I purchased the Unit SLS 2025 wing earlier this year and it has made tacks so much smoother and upgraded my riding. I also bought the Duotone Carve 3.0 D/LAB 2025 with the 800 front wing and once again it’s been a game changer, having a great amount of glide which works perfectly for both wingfoiling and kitefoiling!
All thanks to the H2O team that always have loads of knowledge, passion for watersports and go above and beyond!
Preferring not to throw away my (now discontinued) North Red boom which had a broken cuff, I called H2O to see if there was any way to salvage it. I spoke with Matt who was very knowledgeable and helpful but came off the phone somewhat resigned that I might not be able to get the part. However to my surprise a little while later I was blown away (with a force 5) when I got a call to tell me he’d sourced one for me. And here I am now, a week on, with all the bits I need to get back on the water; whoever said people don’t have time to help others! So the moral of this story is have a little faith and try H2O!

Ordered a 1350 Glide 2.0 to progress on to from my 1750 aero free. Being a heavier rider I've found it's now my go to foil wing, initially a bit harder to get on the foil compared to the aero free but once up it feels completely effort less! Thanks to the team for getting me sorted out 🤙
James, Matt and the H20 Team are absolute gurus of the water sports industry, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They will always give the right advice and come up with superb deals and first class support, thanks guys for always helping me to make the right decisions over the last 20 + years!
My new mast arrived from H20. Sports and it was so worth the wait. You immediately notice how much stiffer it is compared to the v1 carbon version when riding. The foil feels more responsive and direct .It also glides longer in transition s and riding bumps.
Its well worth the upgrade in my opinion.
I bpught this wing to replacr my Unit 5.5 m wing for tje summer breezes as i never liked using big wings. This wing is really powerful in the low end and allows you to pump really efficiently to get on foil with a bit of technique.
You can size down by half a metre with this wing compared to a Unit.
Its still fast and so good iwhen you roll into a tack.
Perfect quiver would be a 3 m , 4m & a 5 m in the Float for all conditions.
Its a great price too as lower than Dlab and SLS wings but with great performance.
As one of the H2O riders I have really enjoyed the variety of kit H2O have available. Including the Duotone sky surf 35Ltr which quickly become my favourite board because of its shorter and thicker shape while being low in litres it still allows me to get it out the water in some lighter winds. However it comes into its own when the wind is strong and the waves are pumping with its incredible manoeuvrability. Paired with the Duotone units (that are light weight and precisely balanced) wave riding is a dream.
I've been one of those riders who thought one board was enough. Turns out a downwind board has opened up so many more days on the water. I cant believe how easy this beast gets going in 6 knots. I use my 8' board with the 1100 and 1595 Duotone Glide. It's like a whole new sport. Whilst I've tried paddling up, I think I'll stick to winging for now (although can't wait to try the Stash Parawing).
Lots of the benefits of the DLAB Unit but without the price tag. Strong, light, and powerful. It's been great in all conditions, handles really well when over powered. I bought the 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 to cover all eventualities. Personally I prefer the handle option which works really well with my harness. Matt and the team really helpful in deciding on the sizing.
I absolutely love my 65L/4'9" Sky Style SLS Wing Board. I'm about 88kg and it suits me for most conditions. Easy planing, great in waves, sold for jumping. Incredibly light, especially when paired with a DLAB Carve 800 foil and mast, which makes it a great overseas travel option too. Carbon finish and colours look great (picture on website doesn't do it enough justice). Not a big fan of the front foot straps overlapping but going to put the new v-strap on which will sort this.
I usually go for the DLAB or SLS Concept Blue Units but this wing has had great reviews so thought I'd give it a try. Great power delivery and handling, really light weight but solid construction. The wing’s dihedral and tension profile give amazing flight balance so although designed for wave/downwind, I think this wind would suit all levels. Bought teh 5m for the summer but bought a 4 ready for the winter swell.
The 2025 Unit is a good allrounder fast, stiff & light wing.
I prefer to size down my Unit as they are really grunty wings.
They also have great top end aswell and the white colourway looks cool.
I have ridden the Skybrid SLS 70 litre and its a great hybrid board between a short wave freesyle board and a mid length shape.
Easy to get up though its narrower than my previous boards and does require a little more effort.
The big advantage is the early planing speed to get on foil and the glide.
Its a good allrounder in waves and flat water.
