FULL DESCRIPTION
Our entire Solite glove line for Fall 2022-Winter 2023 has been redesigned for improved fit and flexibility along with unmatched grip, durability, and warmth. The Solite 5:3 Split-Mitt is designed to keep your hands warm and flexible in all but the most arctic conditions.
KEY FEATURES
3D-Grip Palm
The 5:3 Split-Mitt now features a more flexible 3D Grip Palm with better stretch to fit more hand shapes. The 3D Grip is a sticky, rail-grabbing compound with full palm/finger coverage to repel water and keep the glove light for max dexterity. The 3D coating insures long-term durability and grip, while interlocking triangle print allows the palm/fingers to stretch and flex with minimal strain.
Split-Mitt Design
Unlike "lobster-claw" style gloves, our exclusive Split-Mitt design joins your pointer finger with your middle finger to insure the pointer finger stays warm. This simple but effective design allows you to have the same warmth as a mitten, without the clumsiness of all fingers in one pocket.
The Split-Mitt is pre-shaped with a curve in the fingers for comfortable, natural paddling position and features a single back panel for max flexibility, durability, and comfort.
Thermal-Rebound Lining
The 5:3 Split-Mitt features a unique Thermal-Rebound plush, quick-dry interior lining material. Thermal-Rebound material features a thin, flexible metallic grid-layer between the neoprene and the outer lining, reflecting body heat back to the skin for enhanced warmth. Lab tests on the Thermal Rebound laminate show an increase in insulation exceeding 10%, which extends your sessions and increases your odds of getting the wave of the day.
Hex-Shield Back Panel
Our exclusive Hex-Shield Back Panel combines the water-shedding warmth of a unlined panel with the enhanced durability of laminated neoprene. Many gloves feature raw "mesh skin" neoprene panels which shed water for lightweight and warmth, BUT these unlined panels rip very easily without a laminate for strength. Our Hex Shield offers the best of both worlds: a durable, nylon-lined exterior with a full-panel lamination of water-proof ink. The hex-pattern print insures max flexibility while still absorbing sunlight and repelling water. All this is done in a single panel, minimizing seams for enhanced comfort, flexibility, and durability.
Overkill Seams and EZ-O Cuff
To maximize lifespan, we've utilized the most durable seam construction available. Our Overkill Seams start with a glued/blind-stitched seam, with the seam on the outside for maximum comfort. The external stitching is then coated with a liquid seam seal, sealing the stitch holes and providing a durable, flexible barrier against water entry. Inside the gloves, all of the stress areas (between each finger and where the wrist joins the palm panel) feature internal taping for an even greater level of protection.
Just like our boots, our gloves integrate our EZ-O Cuff, which provides a seamless seal around the wrist but with a larger panel than all other gloves making the gloves easy on/off. Our EZ-O Cuff is also double laminated (inside and out) for max durability, whereas most other O-Ring cuffs feature a weaker non-lined interior. For reduced bulk, lighter weight, and easier on-off, the EZ-O cuff panel is reduced to 3mm thickness.
Pre-Curved Fingers and Minimal Seams
The 5:3 Split-Mitt has a pre-curved, anatomical shape out of the box, putting your hand and fingers in perfect paddling position without any strain on the hands/fingers. This shape reduces fatigue and allows longer, warmer, more comfortable sessions.
Flexibility, durability, and comfort is also optimized with minimal seam construction. Most gloves feature 4 or more neoprene panels, reducing flexibility, comfort, and providing more seams to leak. The 5:3 Split-Mitt only has 3 panels: a single back panel, single palm panel, and EZ-O cuff panel. This simplified pattern results in incredible comfort, easy on/off, and versatile fit for a variety of hand shapes.

from 127 reviewsAfter purchasing this wing earlier this year it has noticeably made tacks so much smoother and overall upgraded my riding. I bought the 3.0 and 5.0 metre and my 3.0m flies very well in both underpowered and overpowered conditions
I purchased the Unit SLS 2025 wing earlier this year and it has made tacks so much smoother and upgraded my riding. I also bought the Duotone Carve 3.0 D/LAB 2025 with the 800 front wing and once again it’s been a game changer, having a great amount of glide which works perfectly for both wingfoiling and kitefoiling!
All thanks to the H2O team that always have loads of knowledge, passion for watersports and go above and beyond!
Preferring not to throw away my (now discontinued) North Red boom which had a broken cuff, I called H2O to see if there was any way to salvage it. I spoke with Matt who was very knowledgeable and helpful but came off the phone somewhat resigned that I might not be able to get the part. However to my surprise a little while later I was blown away (with a force 5) when I got a call to tell me he’d sourced one for me. And here I am now, a week on, with all the bits I need to get back on the water; whoever said people don’t have time to help others! So the moral of this story is have a little faith and try H2O!

Ordered a 1350 Glide 2.0 to progress on to from my 1750 aero free. Being a heavier rider I've found it's now my go to foil wing, initially a bit harder to get on the foil compared to the aero free but once up it feels completely effort less! Thanks to the team for getting me sorted out 🤙
James, Matt and the H20 Team are absolute gurus of the water sports industry, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They will always give the right advice and come up with superb deals and first class support, thanks guys for always helping me to make the right decisions over the last 20 + years!
My new mast arrived from H20. Sports and it was so worth the wait. You immediately notice how much stiffer it is compared to the v1 carbon version when riding. The foil feels more responsive and direct .It also glides longer in transition s and riding bumps.
Its well worth the upgrade in my opinion.
I bpught this wing to replacr my Unit 5.5 m wing for tje summer breezes as i never liked using big wings. This wing is really powerful in the low end and allows you to pump really efficiently to get on foil with a bit of technique.
You can size down by half a metre with this wing compared to a Unit.
Its still fast and so good iwhen you roll into a tack.
Perfect quiver would be a 3 m , 4m & a 5 m in the Float for all conditions.
Its a great price too as lower than Dlab and SLS wings but with great performance.
As one of the H2O riders I have really enjoyed the variety of kit H2O have available. Including the Duotone sky surf 35Ltr which quickly become my favourite board because of its shorter and thicker shape while being low in litres it still allows me to get it out the water in some lighter winds. However it comes into its own when the wind is strong and the waves are pumping with its incredible manoeuvrability. Paired with the Duotone units (that are light weight and precisely balanced) wave riding is a dream.
I've been one of those riders who thought one board was enough. Turns out a downwind board has opened up so many more days on the water. I cant believe how easy this beast gets going in 6 knots. I use my 8' board with the 1100 and 1595 Duotone Glide. It's like a whole new sport. Whilst I've tried paddling up, I think I'll stick to winging for now (although can't wait to try the Stash Parawing).
Lots of the benefits of the DLAB Unit but without the price tag. Strong, light, and powerful. It's been great in all conditions, handles really well when over powered. I bought the 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 to cover all eventualities. Personally I prefer the handle option which works really well with my harness. Matt and the team really helpful in deciding on the sizing.
I absolutely love my 65L/4'9" Sky Style SLS Wing Board. I'm about 88kg and it suits me for most conditions. Easy planing, great in waves, sold for jumping. Incredibly light, especially when paired with a DLAB Carve 800 foil and mast, which makes it a great overseas travel option too. Carbon finish and colours look great (picture on website doesn't do it enough justice). Not a big fan of the front foot straps overlapping but going to put the new v-strap on which will sort this.
I usually go for the DLAB or SLS Concept Blue Units but this wing has had great reviews so thought I'd give it a try. Great power delivery and handling, really light weight but solid construction. The wing’s dihedral and tension profile give amazing flight balance so although designed for wave/downwind, I think this wind would suit all levels. Bought teh 5m for the summer but bought a 4 ready for the winter swell.
The 2025 Unit is a good allrounder fast, stiff & light wing.
I prefer to size down my Unit as they are really grunty wings.
They also have great top end aswell and the white colourway looks cool.
I have ridden the Skybrid SLS 70 litre and its a great hybrid board between a short wave freesyle board and a mid length shape.
Easy to get up though its narrower than my previous boards and does require a little more effort.
The big advantage is the early planing speed to get on foil and the glide.
Its a good allrounder in waves and flat water.
