Building on the success of our latest range of Carve wings, the design goal of the Carve 2.0 was to push the performance of these mid aspect wings even further.

FULL DESCRIPTION

Our team riders wanted more glide, more speed and less drag, all whilst increasing the manoeuvrability and maintaining our trademark control at high speed.

We decided to start from a blank page and pretty much changed all the design parameters of the wing: higher aspect ratio, new outline and curvature, new profiles and twist along the wing.

Not only that but each individual size has been tuned independently to best fit its intended use. The bigger 1430 for example has the lowest aspect ratio and thinnest profile, to maximise maneuvrability and reduce the drag, on the opposite side, our 850 as the highest aspect ratio and thickest profile, to improve the lift and delay the stall on such a small wing.

The Carve 2.0 is the go-to wing if you want to tackle “real waves”. What it sacrifices in terms of glide compared to the Free or the Glide, it makes up with higher top end speed and way more manoeuvrability on the wave face.

The Carve 2.0 is also the preferred choice of our freestyle team competing on the world tour. These wings allow them to load up for their jumps with more speed which translates into a more explosive pop. The medium aspect ratio also means that the hard landings are a lot less stressful for the rest of their gear.

This same medium aspect ratio is also what makes the Carve 2.0 wings a great choice for Kite Foiling. Riders can lean on their mast more aggressively without the wing tips coming out of the water. If you are an intermediate to advanced rider looking at the one wing that can do it all, from Wing Foiling in big waves to high-speed runs on the Kite Foil, the Carve 2.0 is the answer!

Stabiliser P

Our latest range of stabilizers, specially designed to complement our Carve 2.0 and Glide ranges. The P series stands for performance! We increased the aspect ratio of the stabilizers so that they would produce more lift whilst being smaller in surface area.

Doing so helped us decreasing the drag and increasing the maneuvrability without loosing that high speed control which our foils are famous for. The P Stabilizers are available in four sizes, 165/180/200/220. Each of them slightly tweaked to work perfectly with our new front wings.

These new stabs are almost completely flat and have lost the little winglets which can be found on our other range: the C Stabilisers.

By making these changes we were able to loosen the feel in the turns, which gives an exciting flavour to our new front wings.

Take full advantage of our brand new thin shims and tweak the angle of attack of your stabiliser by +/- 0.3 degrees increments, to suit your particular riding style, or the conditions on a given day.

Wing Foiling Gear

I cannot sing enough praises for H2O Sports! I have over the years made small purchases because they’ve been the most competitive online but recently I bought some new wing foiling kit and there was some slight damage to the alloy mast - well H2O’s aftercare was second to none!! They were instantly chasing down a replacement part and happy for me to be using the old part (albeit a bit bent) whilst waiting for the replacement. So refreshing to experience such great customer service.

I purchased the Unit SLS 2025 wing earlier this year and it has made tacks so much smoother and upgraded my riding. I also bought the Duotone Carve 3.0 D/LAB 2025 with the 800 front wing and once again it’s been a game changer, having a great amount of glide which works perfectly for both wingfoiling and kitefoiling!

Preferring not to throw away my (now discontinued) North Red boom which had a broken cuff, I called H2O to see if there was any way to salvage it. I spoke with Matt who was very knowledgeable and helpful but came off the phone somewhat resigned that I might not be able to get the part. However to my surprise a little while later I was blown away (with a force 5) when I got a call to tell me he’d sourced one for me. And here I am now, a week on, with all the bits I need to get back on the water; whoever said people don’t have time to help others! So the moral of this story is have a little faith and try H2O!

Light wind lift

Ordered a 1350 Glide 2.0 to progress on to from my 1750 aero free. Being a heavier rider I've found it's now my go to foil wing, initially a bit harder to get on the foil compared to the aero free but once up it feels completely effort less! Thanks to the team for getting me sorted out 🤙

Duotone slim 2.0 Dlab 2.0 carbon mast

My new mast arrived from H20. Sports and it was so worth the wait. You immediately notice how much stiffer it is compared to the v1 carbon version when riding. The foil feels more responsive and direct .It also glides longer in transition s and riding bumps.
Its well worth the upgrade in my opinion.

Duotone Float 5 m is a summer light wind weapon

I bpught this wing to replacr my Unit 5.5 m wing for tje summer breezes as i never liked using big wings. This wing is really powerful in the low end and allows you to pump really efficiently to get on foil with a bit of technique.
You can size down by half a metre with this wing compared to a Unit.
Its still fast and so good iwhen you roll into a tack.
Perfect quiver would be a 3 m , 4m & a 5 m in the Float for all conditions.
Its a great price too as lower than Dlab and SLS wings but with great performance.

Duotone sky surf/sky style, Duotone unit, Dlab foil range.

As one of the H2O riders I have really enjoyed the variety of kit H2O have available. Including the Duotone sky surf 35Ltr which quickly become my favourite board because of its shorter and thicker shape while being low in litres it still allows me to get it out the water in some lighter winds. However it comes into its own when the wind is strong and the waves are pumping with its incredible manoeuvrability. Paired with the Duotone units (that are light weight and precisely balanced) wave riding is a dream.

New to downwind boards and loving it!

I've been one of those riders who thought one board was enough. Turns out a downwind board has opened up so many more days on the water. I cant believe how easy this beast gets going in 6 knots. I use my 8' board with the 1100 and 1595 Duotone Glide. It's like a whole new sport. Whilst I've tried paddling up, I think I'll stick to winging for now (although can't wait to try the Stash Parawing).

Enhanced low-end power, stability, and maneuverability at a great price

Lots of the benefits of the DLAB Unit but without the price tag. Strong, light, and powerful. It's been great in all conditions, handles really well when over powered. I bought the 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 to cover all eventualities. Personally I prefer the handle option which works really well with my harness. Matt and the team really helpful in deciding on the sizing.
