Get people off your cloud with the new TRIGGER, where every jump is higher and the hangtime lasts longer. Designed by Ralf Grösel while still boasting the F-ONE DNA, the new TRIGGER by Brainchild is different and unique, but yet feels at home. This new Big Air kite is all about lofty hangtime, effortless high jumps, and intuitive handling to throw huge airs and big loops.
FULL DESCRIPTION
With its five-strut, high aspect ratio design and outstanding light weight, the TRIGGER by Brainchild is super responsive and efficient, while featuring a very intuitive and direct handling. With its light steering pressure, this kite is a joy to fly, and it remains incredibly easy to always know where it stands with closed eyes. The fixed bridle system keeps the shape stable in the air in the entire wind range.
The TRIGGER also stands out for its ability to send controlled loops with the right amount of boost. It catches you perfectly after every trick, and makes looping safe and easy for everyone, while allowing pros to perform double loops with ease.
The TRIGGER by Brainchild features a new and exclusive panel layout concept, where the panels on the wingtip areas are all joint together into one panel, as well as the main panel between the tip and the S2 strut. This new panel design enhances the aerodynamic behavior of the kite, as well as reduces the amount of seams, therefore decreasing the weight even further.
An exciting new opportunity is here with the advent of a new kite manufacturing facility in Northern Macedonia in Southeastern Europe, headed by Ralf Grösel. The production facility, named Brainchild, is distinguished by its adoption of state-of-the-art assembly technologies and an unprecedented commitment to sustainability, offering an environmental record unmatched in the kiteboarding world.
Brainchild uses new, state-of-the-art, extra-light materials as well as innovative techniques like PROWELD – where all the segments of the leading edge are welded together rather than stitched, which leads to an overall increased stiffness of the kite and even further weight reduction. Moreover, the kites are now digitally printed instead of using typical screen-printing processes. The freedom offered by this printing process allows us to explore new and unique graphics and colors.

TECHNOLOGY
BRAINCHILD
Brainchild uses innovative, high-tech and extra light materials on both the inflatable structure and canopy of the kites. Strength and lightness are guaranteed for incredible flight performances.
The TRIGGER Brainchild notably benefits from the latest recycled canopy material development available on the market. The materials used on this kite are 48% recycled, undyed and unbleached to be as eco-friendly as possible.
BRAINCHILD VALVE
The broad, eco-friendly single-point inflation system guarantees optimal airflow and quick inflation.
DIGITAL PRINTING WITH ECOINK
BRAINCHILD Production has developed a unique process to print materials digitally, only using Eco Solvent Ink. Printing uses four times less water compared to dyed cloths. Moreover, only white fabrics are used for the canopy, which means there is no wastage of dyed material offcuts or the issue of any material colour shortage. This unique process makes resource planning much easier as well.
PROWELD
PROWELD is a unique and revolutionary process technology that Ralf Grösel has patented and developed himself
With PROWELD, segments are ultrasonically welded together seamlessly at one point and then glued on the back to increase the structural rigidity of the joint.
With all the segments of the leading edge welded rather than stitched, it creates a stiffer frame with better structural integrity, while also saving weight and reducing the stress on the bladder inside. This leads to a super precise bar feedback and astounding reactivity from the kite.
The big advantages of the PROWELD method:
– The diagonal stiffness of the Dacron is much higher than with conventional stitching, leading to greater reactivity in each manoeuvre.
– Increase in the overall stiffness of the kite (+25% increased torsional stiffness)
– Saves weight as less material is required for this type of seam (-15% weight compared to conventional seam construction)

from 127 reviewsAfter purchasing this wing earlier this year it has noticeably made tacks so much smoother and overall upgraded my riding. I bought the 3.0 and 5.0 metre and my 3.0m flies very well in both underpowered and overpowered conditions
I purchased the Unit SLS 2025 wing earlier this year and it has made tacks so much smoother and upgraded my riding. I also bought the Duotone Carve 3.0 D/LAB 2025 with the 800 front wing and once again it’s been a game changer, having a great amount of glide which works perfectly for both wingfoiling and kitefoiling!
All thanks to the H2O team that always have loads of knowledge, passion for watersports and go above and beyond!
Preferring not to throw away my (now discontinued) North Red boom which had a broken cuff, I called H2O to see if there was any way to salvage it. I spoke with Matt who was very knowledgeable and helpful but came off the phone somewhat resigned that I might not be able to get the part. However to my surprise a little while later I was blown away (with a force 5) when I got a call to tell me he’d sourced one for me. And here I am now, a week on, with all the bits I need to get back on the water; whoever said people don’t have time to help others! So the moral of this story is have a little faith and try H2O!

Ordered a 1350 Glide 2.0 to progress on to from my 1750 aero free. Being a heavier rider I've found it's now my go to foil wing, initially a bit harder to get on the foil compared to the aero free but once up it feels completely effort less! Thanks to the team for getting me sorted out 🤙
James, Matt and the H20 Team are absolute gurus of the water sports industry, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They will always give the right advice and come up with superb deals and first class support, thanks guys for always helping me to make the right decisions over the last 20 + years!
My new mast arrived from H20. Sports and it was so worth the wait. You immediately notice how much stiffer it is compared to the v1 carbon version when riding. The foil feels more responsive and direct .It also glides longer in transition s and riding bumps.
Its well worth the upgrade in my opinion.
I bpught this wing to replacr my Unit 5.5 m wing for tje summer breezes as i never liked using big wings. This wing is really powerful in the low end and allows you to pump really efficiently to get on foil with a bit of technique.
You can size down by half a metre with this wing compared to a Unit.
Its still fast and so good iwhen you roll into a tack.
Perfect quiver would be a 3 m , 4m & a 5 m in the Float for all conditions.
Its a great price too as lower than Dlab and SLS wings but with great performance.
As one of the H2O riders I have really enjoyed the variety of kit H2O have available. Including the Duotone sky surf 35Ltr which quickly become my favourite board because of its shorter and thicker shape while being low in litres it still allows me to get it out the water in some lighter winds. However it comes into its own when the wind is strong and the waves are pumping with its incredible manoeuvrability. Paired with the Duotone units (that are light weight and precisely balanced) wave riding is a dream.
I've been one of those riders who thought one board was enough. Turns out a downwind board has opened up so many more days on the water. I cant believe how easy this beast gets going in 6 knots. I use my 8' board with the 1100 and 1595 Duotone Glide. It's like a whole new sport. Whilst I've tried paddling up, I think I'll stick to winging for now (although can't wait to try the Stash Parawing).
Lots of the benefits of the DLAB Unit but without the price tag. Strong, light, and powerful. It's been great in all conditions, handles really well when over powered. I bought the 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 to cover all eventualities. Personally I prefer the handle option which works really well with my harness. Matt and the team really helpful in deciding on the sizing.
I absolutely love my 65L/4'9" Sky Style SLS Wing Board. I'm about 88kg and it suits me for most conditions. Easy planing, great in waves, sold for jumping. Incredibly light, especially when paired with a DLAB Carve 800 foil and mast, which makes it a great overseas travel option too. Carbon finish and colours look great (picture on website doesn't do it enough justice). Not a big fan of the front foot straps overlapping but going to put the new v-strap on which will sort this.
I usually go for the DLAB or SLS Concept Blue Units but this wing has had great reviews so thought I'd give it a try. Great power delivery and handling, really light weight but solid construction. The wing’s dihedral and tension profile give amazing flight balance so although designed for wave/downwind, I think this wind would suit all levels. Bought teh 5m for the summer but bought a 4 ready for the winter swell.
The 2025 Unit is a good allrounder fast, stiff & light wing.
I prefer to size down my Unit as they are really grunty wings.
They also have great top end aswell and the white colourway looks cool.
I have ridden the Skybrid SLS 70 litre and its a great hybrid board between a short wave freesyle board and a mid length shape.
Easy to get up though its narrower than my previous boards and does require a little more effort.
The big advantage is the early planing speed to get on foil and the glide.
Its a good allrounder in waves and flat water.
