Take your riding to the next level! Built in full custom sls technology. With the ultra freewave our major aim was to get away from the typical does it all compromise board.
FULL DESCRIPTION
That's why we didn't go the usual route of creating an "easy going" freemove board and then trying to implement as much classic wave and freestyle skills into the shape. Instead, we went the other way around.
In other words, the basis of the development was a potent new school freestyle board, which automatically led to maximum acceleration and pop.
This shape was then tuned so that it also functions as a capable wave board in logo-high side-on waves. For the ULTRA FreeWave to work in side-on wave conditions, it had to become crisp and direct plus truly work with a tri-fin setup.
Now let’s see what are the key ingredients of a great Bump&Jump Freemove board? For us it’s all about great acceleration, control and manoeuvrability.
But what’s really new and unique for such a board is the crisp feeling. Instead of feeling dull and boring to ride the ULTRA FreeWave offers an exciting ride sensation without sacrificing control or wind range. This is the reason why the FreeWave has been given the ULTRA suffix. The ULTRA FreeWave not only offers excitement when performing or learning new manoeuvres, but is also super exciting in a straight line and therefore puts a smile on your face throughout the entire session.
Our second priority was to create the first manoeuvre convertible that works equally great in single- and tri-fin setup and dramatically changes its character:

>> With a single fin setup it now feels a lot more exciting than its predecessor

But we haven't stopped there yet. Instead of the industry-standard semi-custom technology the ULTRA FreeWave is now build in a FULL CUSTOM Technology which is the same way high-end custom boards are made. As a result, both versions are approx. 200g lighter than the previous models, but yet even stronger.
So you see, the legendary FreeWave has been improved in all respects deservedly becoming the ULTRA FreeWave.
The ULTRA FreeWave comes in 6 sizes of 74, 84, 94, 104, 112 and 119 litres for heavier riders and lighter winds.

- For these boards we use our most high-tech raw materials (Carbon, Innegra/Kevlar) resulting in the lowest possible weights, crispest ride sensation and maximum dent-resistance.
FULL CUSTOM SLS
(used on all 2026 SLS boards)
- The SLS construction uses a lower Carbon content and the Innegra is replaced by our exclusive S_GLASS+. This results in a more attractive price level.
- These boards are approx. 300g heavier than the D/LAB boards.
- Due to the FULL CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION the SLS boards are stronger and lighter than comparable boards made in the usual semi-custom construction.
FULL CUSTOM PVC-WOOD
(used on ULTRA GRIP, GRIP, ULTRA FreeWave)
- Our most price attractive boards made in FULL CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION. These boards feature wood reinforcements that effectively dampen peak loads.
FINS
The matching fin design has a similar importance to the board performance as the right mast for the sail.
That's why we have spent a tremendous time and effort into setting up a truly unique fin range.

We don't just buy external stock fins. Instead, one and the same team is now responsible for the board and fin development. This results in a perfectly matching unit lifting the board-fin performance to the next level.
FIN SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGIES
Instead of using one technology for all our fins we are using 3 different technologies according to the fin length and range of use:
- PREPREG FOR ALL LONGER FINS >> lighter than G10 and with adjustable flex due to the moulding process. 50% stronger than the usual RTM technology.
- G10 FOR ALL WAVE FINS >> indestructible
- INJECTION MOULDED CARBO_TECH FOR SHORT SIDE FINS >> guarantees the necessary tip-flex even on short fins.

With Dani Aeberli and Kai Hopf, the two Windsurfing fin designers with the most experience are responsible for our new fin range.
EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTION
Setting up our own exclusive production was inevitable to take our fin performance to the next level. Every process is supervised on site by our own QC specialist Vasin Siritho to guarantee the highest level in quality and consistency.
For all these reasons, we highly recommend to only use the fins supplied with the board.
