FUN FOIL ALL-ROUNDER FOR ALL
The perfect foil all-rounder with little to no limitations in its foiling range of use. Fun is what the board delivers, so the target group is the whole windsurf foil community: Everybody will be able to enjoy foiling as easily as possible – in every aspect of this discipline. Slightly longer than comparable designs on the market, they offer more ease and accessibility. With an elongated pad and special footstrap plugs further forward, the fun extends to wing foiling, too!
THE boards to enjoy all sorts of foiling fun – easy!
DESCRIPTION
The FreeFoils are amazing all-rounders: Incredibly easy for beginners to just jump-on and get their first flights. They are big enough to meet the needs of all foil novices. The boards are stable for easy uphauling, and at the same time compact enough for more advanced riders to use this board for whatever style suits them the best.
With sufficient volume and plenty of float, these boards get you up and flying in the lightest breeze.
Once airborne, the reduced swing weights offer a very stable ride without limitations, no matter whether you want to blast along, ride waves, be active in the freestyle-foil madness or join the late trend – wing foiling. Ease, manoeuvrability, and control for everybody!
Details
Foil Mount & positions:
The strong track construction is built to last and can take all the forces that foils put on a board.
The plate mount and Tuttle box fitting cover all needs and rider preferences. Being able to adjust not only the mast track, but the Foil as well, allows the rider to tune this board exactly to their own specific foiling style – and the scale helps you to find the right position for the foil, every time.
Strap positions:
The centre foot strap option with the huge adjustment range is an essential key feature and the base for control over both rails. This grants a safe feel and quick progress for newcomers to foiling as they will stay balanced easily and prevents entry level riders from losing stability in the air.
For experienced sailors the centred straps mean absolute freedom to get creative: The toy of joy offers everything for the advanced rider who wants to push his limits and take his freestyle know-how into the new world of foiling.
The manoeuvre-oriented rider will enjoy flying down smooth swell faces, or even taking it into the waves for some long, effortless flights.
The FreeFoils also come with the common outboard 4 strap setup for regular foiling. They track extremely well up and down wind and allow for a fast and efficient flight mode – ideal for all freeriders who want to use powerful foils and to sail fast.
Shape:
The board is slightly longer than comparable boards from other brands because our tests showed that with this added length, you gain noticeably more control, ease of use and effortless take-off while you only lose a tiny bit of liveliness. This is a clear advantage not only for novices but also for the average and advanced rider who will benefit from the added comfort and ease of use. Everybody who prefers or needs to ride bigger sails will specially like the more balanced feel of the longer hull.
The comfortable deck shape is also very user friendly for the strapless riders out there. It offers the most responsive feel, while at the same time being as forgiving as can be.
Being narrow enough, they allow for easy foot movement during jibes as well as transitions from rail to rail.
The voluminous rails in combination with a small bevel provide lift on occasional touch-downs for a smooth and a forgiving glide.
Trim
The insert options allow you to trim the mast base and foil closer together and quite far forward. This opens a totally new window for the advanced rider as the board gets livelier and more direct for immediate response. So, this option is especially interesting for the freestyle and wave community.
Wing Foil
For Wing Foiling, strap-less or with straps, mount the plate/wing of the foil all the way forward in the track boxes. The boards feature an elongated pad to the area where you stand when winging and for those who like to use straps, there are additional wing footstrap plugs
Ideal for all types of freeride foiling. Whether it be just cruising along, riding strapless, riding with foot straps, wave foiling, wing surfing, teaching people how to foil behind a boat, or even freestyle, this board can do it all, and does it all REALLY WELL !

from 127 reviewsAfter purchasing this wing earlier this year it has noticeably made tacks so much smoother and overall upgraded my riding. I bought the 3.0 and 5.0 metre and my 3.0m flies very well in both underpowered and overpowered conditions
I purchased the Unit SLS 2025 wing earlier this year and it has made tacks so much smoother and upgraded my riding. I also bought the Duotone Carve 3.0 D/LAB 2025 with the 800 front wing and once again it’s been a game changer, having a great amount of glide which works perfectly for both wingfoiling and kitefoiling!
All thanks to the H2O team that always have loads of knowledge, passion for watersports and go above and beyond!
Preferring not to throw away my (now discontinued) North Red boom which had a broken cuff, I called H2O to see if there was any way to salvage it. I spoke with Matt who was very knowledgeable and helpful but came off the phone somewhat resigned that I might not be able to get the part. However to my surprise a little while later I was blown away (with a force 5) when I got a call to tell me he’d sourced one for me. And here I am now, a week on, with all the bits I need to get back on the water; whoever said people don’t have time to help others! So the moral of this story is have a little faith and try H2O!

Ordered a 1350 Glide 2.0 to progress on to from my 1750 aero free. Being a heavier rider I've found it's now my go to foil wing, initially a bit harder to get on the foil compared to the aero free but once up it feels completely effort less! Thanks to the team for getting me sorted out 🤙
James, Matt and the H20 Team are absolute gurus of the water sports industry, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They will always give the right advice and come up with superb deals and first class support, thanks guys for always helping me to make the right decisions over the last 20 + years!
My new mast arrived from H20. Sports and it was so worth the wait. You immediately notice how much stiffer it is compared to the v1 carbon version when riding. The foil feels more responsive and direct .It also glides longer in transition s and riding bumps.
Its well worth the upgrade in my opinion.
I bpught this wing to replacr my Unit 5.5 m wing for tje summer breezes as i never liked using big wings. This wing is really powerful in the low end and allows you to pump really efficiently to get on foil with a bit of technique.
You can size down by half a metre with this wing compared to a Unit.
Its still fast and so good iwhen you roll into a tack.
Perfect quiver would be a 3 m , 4m & a 5 m in the Float for all conditions.
Its a great price too as lower than Dlab and SLS wings but with great performance.
As one of the H2O riders I have really enjoyed the variety of kit H2O have available. Including the Duotone sky surf 35Ltr which quickly become my favourite board because of its shorter and thicker shape while being low in litres it still allows me to get it out the water in some lighter winds. However it comes into its own when the wind is strong and the waves are pumping with its incredible manoeuvrability. Paired with the Duotone units (that are light weight and precisely balanced) wave riding is a dream.
I've been one of those riders who thought one board was enough. Turns out a downwind board has opened up so many more days on the water. I cant believe how easy this beast gets going in 6 knots. I use my 8' board with the 1100 and 1595 Duotone Glide. It's like a whole new sport. Whilst I've tried paddling up, I think I'll stick to winging for now (although can't wait to try the Stash Parawing).
Lots of the benefits of the DLAB Unit but without the price tag. Strong, light, and powerful. It's been great in all conditions, handles really well when over powered. I bought the 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 to cover all eventualities. Personally I prefer the handle option which works really well with my harness. Matt and the team really helpful in deciding on the sizing.
I absolutely love my 65L/4'9" Sky Style SLS Wing Board. I'm about 88kg and it suits me for most conditions. Easy planing, great in waves, sold for jumping. Incredibly light, especially when paired with a DLAB Carve 800 foil and mast, which makes it a great overseas travel option too. Carbon finish and colours look great (picture on website doesn't do it enough justice). Not a big fan of the front foot straps overlapping but going to put the new v-strap on which will sort this.
I usually go for the DLAB or SLS Concept Blue Units but this wing has had great reviews so thought I'd give it a try. Great power delivery and handling, really light weight but solid construction. The wing’s dihedral and tension profile give amazing flight balance so although designed for wave/downwind, I think this wind would suit all levels. Bought teh 5m for the summer but bought a 4 ready for the winter swell.
The 2025 Unit is a good allrounder fast, stiff & light wing.
I prefer to size down my Unit as they are really grunty wings.
They also have great top end aswell and the white colourway looks cool.
I have ridden the Skybrid SLS 70 litre and its a great hybrid board between a short wave freesyle board and a mid length shape.
Easy to get up though its narrower than my previous boards and does require a little more effort.
The big advantage is the early planing speed to get on foil and the glide.
Its a good allrounder in waves and flat water.
