WORLD CUP WAVE D/LAB >> HIGH-END WAVE SAIL
Super_Hero SLS - taking your wave sailing to the next level
FULL DESCRIPTION
The brand new SUPER_HERO SLS is now replacing the standard SUPER_HERO. With a radical weight reduction of 450 grams, it is a massive update, as it now has the same ultra-light weight as the SUPER_HERO D/LAB.
But that's not all, because all our wave sails follow the same 3 design principles that set them apart from all other sails out there:
1_ Wind range
This is our top priority. It describes how much wind you can cover with a single sail size. Ultimately, this means how many sails you need in your quiver and how often you have to switch your sail due to changing wind conditions.
The most important factor in increasing the wind range is to avoid the sail from stretching/blowing . Lab and on water tests confirm that the total stretch depends mainly on the film thickness. Okay, you can partially compensate ultra-thin film by increasing the thread/yarn density. But the space in-between the threads will always stretch. For this reason, we use a relatively “thick” film for the large center panel above the window. No one else does this, as using an ultra-thin center panel is the easiest way to save weight, but it comes at a price.
2_ Maximum durability and longevity
Maximum puncture resistance against rocks and reefs is particularly important when getting washed in the waves. Also you want to use your sail for more than just one season even in hot places.
Lab and on water tests confirm that puncture and UV resistance depend EXCLUSIVELY on the thickness of the film. That's why we are the only brand that can offer an extended 5-YEAR WARRANTY on our wave sails.
3_ Ultra-light sailing weight
Low weight is the only criterion that helps everyone to improve and sail longer, no matter if you are a pure beginner or a World Cup rider. However, you have to distinguish between the weight on the scale and the weight on the water in your hands. When a sail stretches/blows out, it starts to feel heavier in your hands. That's why we are only interested in the so-called sailing weight. Yes, our wave sails are among the lightest on the scale, but it's only on the water that they play in a league of their own.
SHAPE FOLLOWS CONSTRUCTION
Instead of simply using the same 3D shape, luff curve and twist pattern for all sails in every construction, each sail is completely redesigned and reengineered from the ground up. This is the only way we can exploit the full potential of stretch-free CARBON XPly, for example. This makes all SLS and especially D/LAB sails real game changers. That's the reason why it took us over 2 years to develop the new SUPER_HERO SLS.
Using the SUPER_HERO SLS you instantly feel its incredible ultra-light feeling with lightning quick reaction. And best of all it stays that way even when a gust hit in. The SUPER_HERO SLS combines ultra-light sailing weight with maximum wind range to take your wave sailing to the next level!
KEY FEATURES
INTELLIGENT CARBON XPLY CONSTRUCTION SLS

from 127 reviewsAfter purchasing this wing earlier this year it has noticeably made tacks so much smoother and overall upgraded my riding. I bought the 3.0 and 5.0 metre and my 3.0m flies very well in both underpowered and overpowered conditions
I purchased the Unit SLS 2025 wing earlier this year and it has made tacks so much smoother and upgraded my riding. I also bought the Duotone Carve 3.0 D/LAB 2025 with the 800 front wing and once again it’s been a game changer, having a great amount of glide which works perfectly for both wingfoiling and kitefoiling!
All thanks to the H2O team that always have loads of knowledge, passion for watersports and go above and beyond!
Preferring not to throw away my (now discontinued) North Red boom which had a broken cuff, I called H2O to see if there was any way to salvage it. I spoke with Matt who was very knowledgeable and helpful but came off the phone somewhat resigned that I might not be able to get the part. However to my surprise a little while later I was blown away (with a force 5) when I got a call to tell me he’d sourced one for me. And here I am now, a week on, with all the bits I need to get back on the water; whoever said people don’t have time to help others! So the moral of this story is have a little faith and try H2O!

Ordered a 1350 Glide 2.0 to progress on to from my 1750 aero free. Being a heavier rider I've found it's now my go to foil wing, initially a bit harder to get on the foil compared to the aero free but once up it feels completely effort less! Thanks to the team for getting me sorted out 🤙
James, Matt and the H20 Team are absolute gurus of the water sports industry, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They will always give the right advice and come up with superb deals and first class support, thanks guys for always helping me to make the right decisions over the last 20 + years!
My new mast arrived from H20. Sports and it was so worth the wait. You immediately notice how much stiffer it is compared to the v1 carbon version when riding. The foil feels more responsive and direct .It also glides longer in transition s and riding bumps.
Its well worth the upgrade in my opinion.
I bpught this wing to replacr my Unit 5.5 m wing for tje summer breezes as i never liked using big wings. This wing is really powerful in the low end and allows you to pump really efficiently to get on foil with a bit of technique.
You can size down by half a metre with this wing compared to a Unit.
Its still fast and so good iwhen you roll into a tack.
Perfect quiver would be a 3 m , 4m & a 5 m in the Float for all conditions.
Its a great price too as lower than Dlab and SLS wings but with great performance.
As one of the H2O riders I have really enjoyed the variety of kit H2O have available. Including the Duotone sky surf 35Ltr which quickly become my favourite board because of its shorter and thicker shape while being low in litres it still allows me to get it out the water in some lighter winds. However it comes into its own when the wind is strong and the waves are pumping with its incredible manoeuvrability. Paired with the Duotone units (that are light weight and precisely balanced) wave riding is a dream.
I've been one of those riders who thought one board was enough. Turns out a downwind board has opened up so many more days on the water. I cant believe how easy this beast gets going in 6 knots. I use my 8' board with the 1100 and 1595 Duotone Glide. It's like a whole new sport. Whilst I've tried paddling up, I think I'll stick to winging for now (although can't wait to try the Stash Parawing).
Lots of the benefits of the DLAB Unit but without the price tag. Strong, light, and powerful. It's been great in all conditions, handles really well when over powered. I bought the 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 to cover all eventualities. Personally I prefer the handle option which works really well with my harness. Matt and the team really helpful in deciding on the sizing.
I absolutely love my 65L/4'9" Sky Style SLS Wing Board. I'm about 88kg and it suits me for most conditions. Easy planing, great in waves, sold for jumping. Incredibly light, especially when paired with a DLAB Carve 800 foil and mast, which makes it a great overseas travel option too. Carbon finish and colours look great (picture on website doesn't do it enough justice). Not a big fan of the front foot straps overlapping but going to put the new v-strap on which will sort this.
I usually go for the DLAB or SLS Concept Blue Units but this wing has had great reviews so thought I'd give it a try. Great power delivery and handling, really light weight but solid construction. The wing’s dihedral and tension profile give amazing flight balance so although designed for wave/downwind, I think this wind would suit all levels. Bought teh 5m for the summer but bought a 4 ready for the winter swell.
The 2025 Unit is a good allrounder fast, stiff & light wing.
I prefer to size down my Unit as they are really grunty wings.
They also have great top end aswell and the white colourway looks cool.
I have ridden the Skybrid SLS 70 litre and its a great hybrid board between a short wave freesyle board and a mid length shape.
Easy to get up though its narrower than my previous boards and does require a little more effort.
The big advantage is the early planing speed to get on foil and the glide.
Its a good allrounder in waves and flat water.
