Our 4 to 5-batten Apex complements the legendary Combat, focusing on explosive jumping, a wide wind range, and total control even when overpowered. Developed for riders who demand power, stability, and control without sacrificing lightness or agility, the Apex combines the DNA of the award-winning Combat with extra bottom-end drive and unwavering balance. The result is a true wave sail with a silky, effortless feel that elevates your riding in gusty or extreme conditions. Chosen by Marino for boundary-pushing jumps and by Robby and Morgan for the toughest Maui winds, the Apex inspires confidence to go bigger and ride harder.
Apex HD features Power HD Technology in the foot and clew, with Ultra PE yarns aligned precisely along load paths, delivering crisp response, maximum durability, and razor-sharp control. The HD version features an X-Ply window for extra strength and even lighter weight.

Offering the widest range of use of any sail we have ever created and feeling deceptively light in the hands, the Apex offers plenty of power in the low end, a direct feel on the wave and in the air, and plenty of control in the high end. KEY FEATURES
DRIVE & ACCELERATION
The Apex builds on the DNA of our award-wining combat but takes low end power, drive and acceleration to a new level. Ideal for all conditions from onshore to side-off, Apex will have you jumping higher and getting out quicker more waves than ever before.
WIDE WIND RANGE
Taller and slightly wider than the Combat, the Apex is designed to get going quicker in the low end and handle more wind in the high end due to the narrower head and higher aspect ratio.
STABILITY
Our newly designed luff curve and 3D-designed sail shaping have allowed us to create a stable sail that doesn't feel stiff in the hands. Effortless pumping, early planing, high top speeds and comfortable stability, even in the highest of high winds.
4 / 5 BATTEN LAYOUT
To cater for the demands of high-performance windsurfing across the entire wind range, the Apex features 5 battens in the larger sizes, from 5.1-6.3 and 4 battens in the smaller sizes from 3.6-4.7. This allows us to offer maximum performance per sail size with the optimum stability to weight ratio across the entire range.
INCREASED SIZE SPACING
Due to the increased wind-range of the Apex, we have been able to increase the gaps between the sizes to in order to cover a wider range of conditions with less sails in order to allow for easier storage and travel.
REPLACING THE ATLAS
Compared to the Atlas, the Apex is far more agile and user friendly. With the new outline and 4 batten configurations from 5.1 and down, it feels less like an Atlas and more like a Combat on steroids. Instant power to get you going and allow you to jump as high as possible but still extremely manoeuvrable on the wave!
