INFLATABLE FOIL ALL-ROUNDER FOR ALL
JP’s popular and unique foil allrounders, the FreeFoil boards, have an inflatable brother with 155 litres, featuring all the characteristics of JP’s hardboards and at the same time it feels very smooth, cushioned and thus comfortable!
Additionally, it also features all the user-friendly advantages of inflatables boards: easy transport, easy storage and a durable outer skin.
The sum of all its advantages plus its smooth ride make for a great and easy going all-round board for wingfoiling and windfoiling.
DESCRIPTION
Based on our popular hardboards, the 155 has a very compact shape of only 183 cm length which means no limitations regarding the range of use: Cruise along, ride with or without straps, use a sail or a wing – it will feel great and fly comfortably in all conditions. The easy handling, control and smooth ride provide a wide range of use. You’ll be surprised how much fun it is to play and perform on this board.
Advanced inflatable construction:
The Pre-Laminated Triple Layer Composite Drop Stitch, Fibre Reinforced Stringers in deck and bottom and Welded Rails will surprise you with impressive stiffness.
3D Rail Stringer: This innovative solution connects the deck, rail and bottom into one strong and solid U-beam which makes this inflatable up to 30% stiffer. Furthermore, the 3D Stringer increased the bonding overlap surface in the high stress standing area, improving the durability of the boards.
Fibre reinforced deck and bottom stringers offer additional longitudinal stability and stiffness.
Welded Seam Technology: This heat welded connection was introduced four years ago and proved to be successful. It creates a very strong mechanical joint that literally fuses two parts into one and thus is superior to the standard gluing. This welding process of amalgamating two different layers into one makes the board safer, lighter and stiffer.
Hard Rails: In the tail, the specially developed, super clean hard rails are covered by a fibre reinforced layer of PVC cloth and create a smooth and efficient water release. Thus, the board picks up speed easily for take-off and touchdowns are smooth and controllable. These technical features provide a direct feel. They are very strong – almost indestructible. Their extreme stiffness compared to ‘normal’ inflatables result in great performance and they come as close as possible to the feel and ride of hardboards.
Comfort: The soft hull is covered with a large, slip-proof EVA sheet for unmatched comfort and a safe stance. You also don’t have to worry about mistakes anymore because you won’t get hurt when falling on it – features which make them great beginner boards, too.
Size: Despite being short, the size is suitable for experienced windsurfers but foil beginners because the width and volume provide stability and make your first experiences with foiling easy and forgiving.
Long Track Foil Plate: The board features a long G10 plate with an integrated carrying handle and long tracks (same length as on our hardboards) providing two big advantages:
1) a wide range to adjust the position of the foil
2) adding additional longitudinal stiffness to the hull.
At the same time, this plate is not too long – thus you don’t need an oversized bag and it can still be folded easily into a quite normal size SUP backpack.
Strap positions: Due to the multiple footstrap options you’ll always find the right strap position for windsurf and wing foiling – no matter whether used with a short or a long fuselage.
The common 4 strap setup is the ideal version for regular windsurf foiling (long fuselage). In this setup the board tracks well and allows for an efficient windsurf-stance flight mode.
The centre 3 strap option is the best setup for winging when combined with every standard fuselage length.
Alternatively, you can enjoy total freedom and “free-foil” strapless…
Target groups:
riders who look for an easy and comfortable board for all types of freeride windfoiling or winging or riders who are new to (wind- or wing-) foiling and need some extra stability or riders who need the size and volume for their light wind home spot, where the board provides extra lift.
Transport and Storage: Rolled up, the board fits into a backpack – no more need for a car with roof rack for transport or a big garage for storage. In times when airlines are hesitant to accept windsurf equipment, fitting in a backpack is a major advantage!
Easy ride, easy handling, easy control, easy transport, easy storage in its backpack.
If you are looking for a great and user-friendly all-round foil board, then this is your go-to board.

Reduced foil track depth [13mm]. Make sure to use the right screw length for your plate mount system!
MAX screw length = 13mm + Plate Thickness
All JP foil boards come without screws to attach the foil. Reason: The screw length has to match the plate thickness which varies from foil and brand, so, screws are provided by the foil brand.
Note: This inflatable JP board features a special G10-track-plate requiring shorter screws, than all our JP composite boards.
For example:
The screws supplied with NP foils fit all JP composite boards. But these screws are too long for this inflatable!
Therefore, NeilPryde now also offers a set of four M8x20 screws (titan, torx key head) in their spare parts range.

from 127 reviewsAfter purchasing this wing earlier this year it has noticeably made tacks so much smoother and overall upgraded my riding. I bought the 3.0 and 5.0 metre and my 3.0m flies very well in both underpowered and overpowered conditions
I purchased the Unit SLS 2025 wing earlier this year and it has made tacks so much smoother and upgraded my riding. I also bought the Duotone Carve 3.0 D/LAB 2025 with the 800 front wing and once again it’s been a game changer, having a great amount of glide which works perfectly for both wingfoiling and kitefoiling!
All thanks to the H2O team that always have loads of knowledge, passion for watersports and go above and beyond!
Preferring not to throw away my (now discontinued) North Red boom which had a broken cuff, I called H2O to see if there was any way to salvage it. I spoke with Matt who was very knowledgeable and helpful but came off the phone somewhat resigned that I might not be able to get the part. However to my surprise a little while later I was blown away (with a force 5) when I got a call to tell me he’d sourced one for me. And here I am now, a week on, with all the bits I need to get back on the water; whoever said people don’t have time to help others! So the moral of this story is have a little faith and try H2O!

Ordered a 1350 Glide 2.0 to progress on to from my 1750 aero free. Being a heavier rider I've found it's now my go to foil wing, initially a bit harder to get on the foil compared to the aero free but once up it feels completely effort less! Thanks to the team for getting me sorted out 🤙
James, Matt and the H20 Team are absolute gurus of the water sports industry, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They will always give the right advice and come up with superb deals and first class support, thanks guys for always helping me to make the right decisions over the last 20 + years!
My new mast arrived from H20. Sports and it was so worth the wait. You immediately notice how much stiffer it is compared to the v1 carbon version when riding. The foil feels more responsive and direct .It also glides longer in transition s and riding bumps.
Its well worth the upgrade in my opinion.
I bpught this wing to replacr my Unit 5.5 m wing for tje summer breezes as i never liked using big wings. This wing is really powerful in the low end and allows you to pump really efficiently to get on foil with a bit of technique.
You can size down by half a metre with this wing compared to a Unit.
Its still fast and so good iwhen you roll into a tack.
Perfect quiver would be a 3 m , 4m & a 5 m in the Float for all conditions.
Its a great price too as lower than Dlab and SLS wings but with great performance.
As one of the H2O riders I have really enjoyed the variety of kit H2O have available. Including the Duotone sky surf 35Ltr which quickly become my favourite board because of its shorter and thicker shape while being low in litres it still allows me to get it out the water in some lighter winds. However it comes into its own when the wind is strong and the waves are pumping with its incredible manoeuvrability. Paired with the Duotone units (that are light weight and precisely balanced) wave riding is a dream.
I've been one of those riders who thought one board was enough. Turns out a downwind board has opened up so many more days on the water. I cant believe how easy this beast gets going in 6 knots. I use my 8' board with the 1100 and 1595 Duotone Glide. It's like a whole new sport. Whilst I've tried paddling up, I think I'll stick to winging for now (although can't wait to try the Stash Parawing).
Lots of the benefits of the DLAB Unit but without the price tag. Strong, light, and powerful. It's been great in all conditions, handles really well when over powered. I bought the 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 to cover all eventualities. Personally I prefer the handle option which works really well with my harness. Matt and the team really helpful in deciding on the sizing.
I absolutely love my 65L/4'9" Sky Style SLS Wing Board. I'm about 88kg and it suits me for most conditions. Easy planing, great in waves, sold for jumping. Incredibly light, especially when paired with a DLAB Carve 800 foil and mast, which makes it a great overseas travel option too. Carbon finish and colours look great (picture on website doesn't do it enough justice). Not a big fan of the front foot straps overlapping but going to put the new v-strap on which will sort this.
I usually go for the DLAB or SLS Concept Blue Units but this wing has had great reviews so thought I'd give it a try. Great power delivery and handling, really light weight but solid construction. The wing’s dihedral and tension profile give amazing flight balance so although designed for wave/downwind, I think this wind would suit all levels. Bought teh 5m for the summer but bought a 4 ready for the winter swell.
The 2025 Unit is a good allrounder fast, stiff & light wing.
I prefer to size down my Unit as they are really grunty wings.
They also have great top end aswell and the white colourway looks cool.
I have ridden the Skybrid SLS 70 litre and its a great hybrid board between a short wave freesyle board and a mid length shape.
Easy to get up though its narrower than my previous boards and does require a little more effort.
The big advantage is the early planing speed to get on foil and the glide.
Its a good allrounder in waves and flat water.
