Specifically designed for foil surfing, the ROCKET SURF is the most compact board of the range. Its design will guarantee that you can paddle, take-off, ride, pump and carve with maximum control as you catch waves with ease. The stiff and light construction render both the board and foil extremely responsive so you can draw your line as you want it.
FULL DESCRIPTION
The ROCKET SURF is very balanced and maneuverable in all phases of foil surfing, helping you catch any waves. This board is responsive, stable, easy to take off with, and brings incredible control throughout the entire ride.
The ROCKET SURF is now slightly narrower and longer, while retaining its timeless shape to bring out the purest surf sensations. This board is playful and easily maneuverable thanks to this compact shape.
The well-proportioned outline allows an even volume distribution, which in turn brings stability both in the water and in the air. We have placed maximum volume under the rider’s chest to encourage an easy paddling and take-off. The rocker has also been adjusted to improve the front/back balance and pumping abilities.
The new squash tail allows you to lean at a maximum angle during your turns in total control without touching the water. The double concave provides an easy release, even if the board touches the water while flying. The pronounced step on the hull and bevels also helps release from the water and reduces friction for improved take-off and stronger accelerations.
The concave deck lowers your center of gravity and brings the feet closer to the foil, thus allowing you to naturally position yourself and to better control the board once in the air. It also helps to move your knees and feet through and to stand up while taking-off.
The bamboo construction and the bamboo reinforcement on the deck create a highly resistant, durable, and light shell all-around.
The size range of the ROCKET SURF has been revised and now includes six sizes, ranging from 4’3 (25L) to 4’11 (40L). We are also offering new sizes with different length/volume ratios: 4’3+ and 4’5+. These two boards are wider and, above all, thicker to offer an alternative with more volume for the same length for riders who don’t need to paddle out a lot. They hence may go for a shorter length for the same volume.
All boards are equipped with a full pad and the Twin-Tracks system for foil compatibility. The ROCKET SURF doesn’t include strap insert from this year on.
KEY FEATURES
Enhanced shape for improved take-offs and easy paddle
Extremely responsive
Complete control during pumping and carving
High-performance during flight
FULL BAMBOO CONSTRUCTION
Bamboo fibres are highly resistant and light. The Full Bamboo construction uses natural properties of bamboo veneers placed between layers of glass fibers to create a strong, durable, light shell for the entire board (deck and bottom).
DOUBLE BAMBOO DECK
An extra layer of bamboo (Double Bamboo Deck) is located in the stance area to make the deck even more resistant to local heel pressures and dings. This results in light, strong and responsive boards to enjoy session after session.
TWIN-TRACKS
The twin-tracks system with a lateral spacing of 90mm is one of the standards in the industry.
The system is compatible with all foils featuring a top plate with four fastening bolts. The length of the tracks leaves some room to adjust the position of the foil on the board to help everyone reach their preferred balance.
CONCAVE DECK
Because a kitesurfer does not need volume to waterstart, the volume distribution has been optimized with a concave deck. It allows to both lower the center of gravity and increase the control while reducing the thickness of the board under the front feet, without affecting the rails profiles. The concave deck provides a significant gain in controls during turns.

from 127 reviewsAfter purchasing this wing earlier this year it has noticeably made tacks so much smoother and overall upgraded my riding. I bought the 3.0 and 5.0 metre and my 3.0m flies very well in both underpowered and overpowered conditions
I purchased the Unit SLS 2025 wing earlier this year and it has made tacks so much smoother and upgraded my riding. I also bought the Duotone Carve 3.0 D/LAB 2025 with the 800 front wing and once again it’s been a game changer, having a great amount of glide which works perfectly for both wingfoiling and kitefoiling!
All thanks to the H2O team that always have loads of knowledge, passion for watersports and go above and beyond!
Preferring not to throw away my (now discontinued) North Red boom which had a broken cuff, I called H2O to see if there was any way to salvage it. I spoke with Matt who was very knowledgeable and helpful but came off the phone somewhat resigned that I might not be able to get the part. However to my surprise a little while later I was blown away (with a force 5) when I got a call to tell me he’d sourced one for me. And here I am now, a week on, with all the bits I need to get back on the water; whoever said people don’t have time to help others! So the moral of this story is have a little faith and try H2O!

Ordered a 1350 Glide 2.0 to progress on to from my 1750 aero free. Being a heavier rider I've found it's now my go to foil wing, initially a bit harder to get on the foil compared to the aero free but once up it feels completely effort less! Thanks to the team for getting me sorted out 🤙
James, Matt and the H20 Team are absolute gurus of the water sports industry, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They will always give the right advice and come up with superb deals and first class support, thanks guys for always helping me to make the right decisions over the last 20 + years!
My new mast arrived from H20. Sports and it was so worth the wait. You immediately notice how much stiffer it is compared to the v1 carbon version when riding. The foil feels more responsive and direct .It also glides longer in transition s and riding bumps.
Its well worth the upgrade in my opinion.
I bpught this wing to replacr my Unit 5.5 m wing for tje summer breezes as i never liked using big wings. This wing is really powerful in the low end and allows you to pump really efficiently to get on foil with a bit of technique.
You can size down by half a metre with this wing compared to a Unit.
Its still fast and so good iwhen you roll into a tack.
Perfect quiver would be a 3 m , 4m & a 5 m in the Float for all conditions.
Its a great price too as lower than Dlab and SLS wings but with great performance.
As one of the H2O riders I have really enjoyed the variety of kit H2O have available. Including the Duotone sky surf 35Ltr which quickly become my favourite board because of its shorter and thicker shape while being low in litres it still allows me to get it out the water in some lighter winds. However it comes into its own when the wind is strong and the waves are pumping with its incredible manoeuvrability. Paired with the Duotone units (that are light weight and precisely balanced) wave riding is a dream.
I've been one of those riders who thought one board was enough. Turns out a downwind board has opened up so many more days on the water. I cant believe how easy this beast gets going in 6 knots. I use my 8' board with the 1100 and 1595 Duotone Glide. It's like a whole new sport. Whilst I've tried paddling up, I think I'll stick to winging for now (although can't wait to try the Stash Parawing).
Lots of the benefits of the DLAB Unit but without the price tag. Strong, light, and powerful. It's been great in all conditions, handles really well when over powered. I bought the 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 to cover all eventualities. Personally I prefer the handle option which works really well with my harness. Matt and the team really helpful in deciding on the sizing.
I absolutely love my 65L/4'9" Sky Style SLS Wing Board. I'm about 88kg and it suits me for most conditions. Easy planing, great in waves, sold for jumping. Incredibly light, especially when paired with a DLAB Carve 800 foil and mast, which makes it a great overseas travel option too. Carbon finish and colours look great (picture on website doesn't do it enough justice). Not a big fan of the front foot straps overlapping but going to put the new v-strap on which will sort this.
I usually go for the DLAB or SLS Concept Blue Units but this wing has had great reviews so thought I'd give it a try. Great power delivery and handling, really light weight but solid construction. The wing’s dihedral and tension profile give amazing flight balance so although designed for wave/downwind, I think this wind would suit all levels. Bought teh 5m for the summer but bought a 4 ready for the winter swell.
The 2025 Unit is a good allrounder fast, stiff & light wing.
I prefer to size down my Unit as they are really grunty wings.
They also have great top end aswell and the white colourway looks cool.
I have ridden the Skybrid SLS 70 litre and its a great hybrid board between a short wave freesyle board and a mid length shape.
Easy to get up though its narrower than my previous boards and does require a little more effort.
The big advantage is the early planing speed to get on foil and the glide.
Its a good allrounder in waves and flat water.
