FULL DESCRIPTION

The 2027 Duotone Skybrid SLS is a versatile, high-performance mid-length wing foil board designed for early take-offs, efficient glide and confident control. Based on the proven Skybrid D/LAB shape, it combines accessible handling with the speed, stability and responsiveness required by progressing and experienced foil riders.

Its moderate rocker line delivers excellent control and direct feedback at higher speeds while maintaining smooth, efficient acceleration onto the foil. Increased rounded rail bevels reduce the planing surface, promoting cleaner release, earlier lift, easier pumping and more forgiving touchdowns.

A lower rail apex improves stability, while the wider stance area extends towards the rails to create a secure, planted riding position. The diamond tail combines a broad, stable platform with increased clearance through turns, delivering a ride that feels both forgiving and highly manoeuvrable.

Built using lightweight Biax Carbon PVC Sandwich construction, the 2027 Skybrid SLS provides impressive stiffness, efficient power transfer and a direct, responsive feel. Long carbon foil tracks with rear openings make foil installation quick and allow precise positioning for different rider weights, foil setups and riding styles. A thin deck pad further improves connection and feedback beneath your feet.

Available in five sizes from the compact 60L 5’5” to the stable 100L 6’1”, the Duotone Skybrid SLS covers a focused mid-length board range suitable for a wide variety of riders and conditions.

Optimised for wing foiling, the Skybrid SLS also offers excellent crossover performance for parawinging and Foil Assist. Its combination of early take-off, efficient glide, stable control and dynamic turning makes it a true all-round foil board across multiple disciplines.

Wing Foiling Gear

I cannot sing enough praises for H2O Sports! I have over the years made small purchases because they’ve been the most competitive online but recently I bought some new wing foiling kit and there was some slight damage to the alloy mast - well H2O’s aftercare was second to none!! They were instantly chasing down a replacement part and happy for me to be using the old part (albeit a bit bent) whilst waiting for the replacement. So refreshing to experience such great customer service.

After purchasing this wing earlier this year it has noticeably made tacks so much smoother and overall upgraded my riding. I bought the 3.0 and 5.0 metre and my 3.0m flies very well in both underpowered and overpowered conditions

I purchased the Unit SLS 2025 wing earlier this year and it has made tacks so much smoother and upgraded my riding. I also bought the Duotone Carve 3.0 D/LAB 2025 with the 800 front wing and once again it’s been a game changer, having a great amount of glide which works perfectly for both wingfoiling and kitefoiling!

Preferring not to throw away my (now discontinued) North Red boom which had a broken cuff, I called H2O to see if there was any way to salvage it. I spoke with Matt who was very knowledgeable and helpful but came off the phone somewhat resigned that I might not be able to get the part. However to my surprise a little while later I was blown away (with a force 5) when I got a call to tell me he’d sourced one for me. And here I am now, a week on, with all the bits I need to get back on the water; whoever said people don’t have time to help others! So the moral of this story is have a little faith and try H2O!

Light wind lift

Ordered a 1350 Glide 2.0 to progress on to from my 1750 aero free. Being a heavier rider I've found it's now my go to foil wing, initially a bit harder to get on the foil compared to the aero free but once up it feels completely effort less! Thanks to the team for getting me sorted out 🤙
