Choosing the right wetsuit size can be tricky — it needs to fit like a second skin, snug and secure against your body. A proper fit is essential for warmth, comfort, and performance. However, it shouldn’t feel restrictive or have excess material around your armpits, lower back, or behind the knees.

Wetsuit sizing tips: how to measure
Height: stand right up and measure the length from the ground to the top of your head.
Weight: measure your weight on a time of day you would normally go surfing. In the morning, you are usually lighter so don’t cheat.
Chest: keep your arms relaxed by your side and measure the widest part of your chest.
Waist: breathe out and measure around your natural waistline.

BACK ZIP
Easier to put on and take off, requiring less flexibility. They offer greater comfort by keeping the chest area unrestricted and free of pressure points. Additional protection pads at shins & detachable leg loops to prevent water from rushing into the suit.
FRONT ZIP
Snug fit with less water entry, enhancing warmth and performance. They allow greater flexibility in the back and shoulders for activities like paddling. The zipper placement reduces pressure on the spine, adding to overall comfort.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS WETSUITS
Your wetsuit is more than just gear — it's your second skin in the water. Properly caring for your wetsuit can extend its lifespan, making it the most sustainable choice for neoprene products. It's not just about sustainability, though. It's also about ensuring your comfort, safety, and performance every time you hit the waves. From maintaining insulation to preserving durability against saltwater, UV rays, and general wear and tear, the importance of proper wetsuit care cannot be overstated.
STEP 1: THE BASICS
Be careful when putting on and taking off your wetsuit. Excessive stretching and pulling can damage the seams. Avoid stepping on your wetsuit while taking it off, as this can cause holes and damage to the exterior linings
STEP 2: AFTER THE SESSION
Rinse your wetsuit with fresh water to remove sand, sweat, and salt.
If necessary, use a mild detergent, but opt for a biodegradable option. Minimize detergent use to avoid washing out the plasticizers in the neoprene, which maintain its stretch. Be sure to thoroughly rinse out all detergent.
STEP 3: DRYING
Allow your wetsuit to dry in the shade after each use. Avoid direct sunlight.
STEP 4: STORAGE
Fold your wetsuit and store it in a dry, shady place. Avoid hanging it on a hanger.
